My life and my work reflect the broad range of experiences and passions that I have pursued. These evolutions have taken me from Peace and Conflict studies at UC Berkeley to fine dining management. Within the scope of that work, my passions have continuously drawn me closer to the creative and artistic elements that ultimately lie at the core of that hospitality, driven by the art and performance that surrounds the most profound dining experiences. Now working as a Design Consultant for CB2, my work today is another step in that direction. I am currently studying Interiors at Parson's School of Design and in the process of moving to Porto, Portugal. The ultimate aim of my work is to apply my unique knowledge towards curating and developing innovative restaurant concepts that not only feel compelling from a guest perspective, but which also speak to the realities and considerations of how those same spaces function for staff, flow and operations.
Having traveled the world, my aesthetic values represent my lived experiences in major metropolitan centers from San Francisco to New York to Barcelona, while maintaining a deep respect for the timelessness of thoughtful design. My work explores the gap between old and new, inviting an artistically playful and unexpected perspective to my clients’ spaces, while producing a compelling combination of sophisticated minimalism and eclectic individuality. I gravitate towards organic materials and palettes inspired by the natural world, resulting in designs which are refreshing, intentional, warm and inviting. Where the subtle marriage of form and texture create something spatially profound and deeply tangible.
